Religious Education Classes & Sacramental Preparation

Religious Education

for Children & Teens

Religious Ed. Classes continue Sundays from 9:05am-10:20am for all grades Kindergarten through 8th (Confirmation Prep Year 1) and Wednesday, from 5:30pm-6:45pm or Saturday, 12noon-1pm for Confirmation Preparation Year 2.

Please have your child(ren) enrolled in Faith Formation classes, especially if your child is not attending Catholic School.  Please remember children will need two years of Religious Education before being eligible to receive a Sacrament such as First Communion or Confirmation.

Sacred Heart Youth Ministry

All youth in grades 6 - 12 are welcome to join us on Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8pm for faith, food, fun & fellowship!

Our St. Leo University Core Team will be leading our teens in prayer and faith sharing.

This Wednesday, October 13th, we will play some fun games, see a skit, and we will be talking about the importance of the Sacraments, specifically

Eucharist and Confession.

There will also be an opportunity to go to Confession and spend time in Adoration.

We would love for you to join us!

Interested in the Catholic Faith?

ARE YOU SOMEONE OR DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO…

· Has expressed an interest in becoming Catholic?

· Has a child over the age of seven who has not been baptized?

· Was baptized Catholic as a child, but has not celebrated the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist?

The journey of RCIA begins with inquiry — asking questions.  For more info, please contact Mary Andrysiak at the parish office or RCIA@sacredheartdadecity.org.
